Company unveils ground-breaking middleware solution designed to empower companies to move to smart manufacturing and enhance production efficiencies

France-based, JPB Système, the leading manufacturer of self-locking devices for the aerospace and aeronautic industry, today announces the launch of a ground-breaking middleware solution, KeyProd, at the International Paris Air Show (17-23 June 2019, Le Bourget Exhibition Centre, Paris – France). Introducing an advanced level of digitisation to production environments, the cloud-based KeyProd platform is designed to connect, track and measure the effectiveness of all elements of the manufacturing process – including existing software, machinery and associated applications. As such, JPB Système hopes that the innovative solution will empower manufacturing companies seeking to embrace intelligent manufacturing and the Industry 4.0 revolution.

Offering easy installation that can be handled in house, KeyProd provides a smart infrastructure that monitors production processes remotely in real time and from different devices – such as smartphones, tablets and computers.

Additionally, as part of KeyProd, JPB Système has developed an advanced sensor device that detects vibrations and sounds from manufacturing machines to provide an immediate status on their performance. The wireless device can be easily affixed to machinery to deliver vital information from the production floor.

For manufacturers this results in an unprecedented capability to enhance day-to-day production performance.

Commenting on the launch of KeyProd, Damien Marc, CEO at JPB Système, says: “The aerospace and aeronautic industry is experiencing unprecedented pressure, with the demand for aircraft units ramping up and the margins to invest in new technologies declining due to high global competition in the market. A prototype of KeyProd will be showcased on JPB Système’s booth (Hall 2a C216) at the Paris Air Show, with a beta test programme set to commence just after the event. The solution is expected to be commercially available by the end of 2019.

JPB Système will also use the Paris Air Show to launch spin-off company, KeyProd. Established as a separate business entity, the new firm will oversee the promotion and sales of the KeyProd solution. Both JBP Système and KeyProd are part of the holding group, JPB Système Industry.

Introduisant un niveau avancé de numérisation au sein des environnements de production, la plateforme KeyProd basée sur le cloud vise à connecter, suivre et mesurer l’efficacité de l’ensemble des composants du processus de fabrication, notamment les logiciels existants, les machines et les applications associées. À ce titre, JPB Système espère que cette solution innovante permettra aux entreprises manufacturières d’adopter la fabrication intelligente et de se lancer sur la voie révolutionnaire de l’industrie 4.0.

Offrant une installation facile pouvant être gérée en interne, KeyProd propose une infrastructure intelligente capable de surveiller les processus de production à distance, en temps réel et depuis différents appareils, tels que smartphones, tablettes et ordinateurs.

En outre, dans le cadre de KeyProd, JPB Système a créé un dispositif capteur avancé qui détecte les vibrations et les bruits de machines de fabrication afin de fournir un bilan immédiat de leur performance. Ce dispositif sans fil peut être fixé en toute facilité aux machines afin de proposer des informations essentielles issues de l’atelier de production.

Il offre ainsi aux fabricants une possibilité sans précédent d’améliorer leurs performances de production quotidiennes.

Damien Marc, PDG de JPB Système, commente le lancement de KeyProd en ces termes : « L’industrie aérospatiale et aéronautique est actuellement confrontée à une pression inédite, face à la hausse de la demande en unités d’aéronefs et à la baisse des marges d’investissement dans les nouvelles technologies due à une forte concurrence mondiale sur le marché. Un prototype de KeyProd sera présenté sur le stand de JPB Système (Hall 2a C216) lors du Salon de Paris-Le Bourget, un programme de test bêta devant démarrer juste après l’événement. La solution devrait être disponible sur le marché d’ici à la fin de l’année 2019.

JPB Système profitera également du salon pour lancer son entreprise dérivée, KeyProd. Établie comme une entité distincte, la nouvelle société supervisera la promotion et la vente de la solution KeyProd. JPB Système et KeyProd font toutes deux partie du groupe holding JPB Système Industry.

Als Bestandteil von KeyProd hat JPB Système auch einen hochmodernen Sensor zur Erkennung von Vibrationen und Geräuschen von Fertigungsmaschinen entwickelt. Dieser Sensor gibt sofort Aufschluss über die Maschinenleistung. Das Funkgerät lässt sich problemlos an Maschinen befestigen und liefert wichtige Daten aus der Produktionsumgebung.

Dadurch können Hersteller ihre tägliche Produktionsleistung erheblich steigern.

Ein Prototyp von KeyProd wird am Messestand (C216 in Halle 2a) von JPB Système auf der Paris Air Show, der führenden Fachmesse für die Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie, zu sehen sein. Direkt im Anschluss an diese Veranstaltung wird das Betatest-Programm starten. Die Lösung soll bis Ende 2019 kommerziell erhältlich sein.

JPB Système will die Paris Air Show auch als Plattform zur Gründung des Spin-off-Unternehmens KeyProd nutzen. Dieses neue, ausgegliederte Unternehmen wird für die Verkaufsförderung und den Vertrieb der KeyProd-Lösung verantwortlich sein.
