Revolutionary Digital Gateway, appadda, Makes WorldWide Debut at Mobile World Congress

appadda launched for fast, affordable, revenue-driving access to digital content without Internet connection

NASHIK, India – 17 February 2014 – Winjit Technologies announces the worldwide launch of appadda in the What’s Next Pavilion (Hall 8, Stand 8.0B58) at Mobile World Congress, 24 – 27 February. A revolutionary concept, appadda enables the monetisation of digital content that can be downloaded or streamed to mobile devices where Internet connections are unavailable or too expensive.

“appadda brings fast, easy and affordable content download services to developing countries where people have mobile devices, but limited or unstable internet access,” said Abhijit Junagade, co-founder, Winjit Technologies. “In the developed world, appadda presents a unique opportunity for businesses to provide internet access and easily accessible digital content, including music, games, apps and films. This is an exciting, wholly new opportunity for all kinds of businesses to enhance and add value to their services and create new revenue streams.”

Content is purchased via vouchers sold at appadda enabled locations. This ground-breaking new platform is ideal for use in shops, restaurants, hotels, on public transport and many other public places. (Click here to see how taxi cabs in South Africa are using appadda.)

More than just a source of digital content, appadda is a brand new distribution channel enabling app developers, publishers and other content providers to share and sell their products without previous connectivity barriers. (Click hereto see in more detail how the model works.)

Also shown on the appadda stand will be Winjit Technologies’ one-stop solution Enterprise Mobility Framework – with applications that enable individuals to keep in touch with the essential functions of their businesses while away from the office.

Winjit Enterprise Mobile Framework (WEMF) offers a framework for businesses to seamlessly adopt a mobility system that helps to enhance productivity, increase revenue and reduce cost. From secure web connections and app monetising solutions, to sophisticated content aggregation across different media and sources, WEMF offers a solid platform for a tailor-made solution.
