Segen Announces Major Expansion in the Republic of Ireland and Exclusive Tesla Powerwall Distribution Across Ireland

  • Segen announces new Dublin warehouse and one of the largest range of solar and storage products available in ROI.
  • Tesla Powerwall now available in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland for the first time, exclusively through Segen.

Hampshire, UK – 15th October 2025 – Segen Ltd., the UK’s largest distributor of renewable energy technologies, today announces a major expansion of its operation in the Republic of Ireland (ROI). This strategic move positions Segen as a key player in the country’s rapidly-expanding renewable energy sector, offering customers one of the largest range of solar and storage solutions available nationwide. Irish installers, contractors and local authorities now have access to nearly 800 SKUs from leading global manufacturers, supporting faster deployment of renewable energy infrastructure and advancing energy independence for end-customers throughout the country.

Segen’s extensive product range includes an unmatched portfolio of battery energy storage solutions—including, for the first time in both ROI and Northern Ireland, the Tesla Powerwall home battery (see details below). ROI customers will also have access to advanced energy storage systems from Anker SOLIX, Fox ESS, Dyness, Sunsynk and Solis; high-performance solar panels and inverters from Solis; and a range of robust, reliable mounting solutions from leading brands such as Renusol, Solarport, and Schletter. With this full suite of premium products, Irish installers will have access to everything they need to support a wide range of residential and commercial projects.

To accommodate its expansive product portfolio, Segen has established a high-capacity 808-pallet warehouse in Dublin, operated by Crane Worldwide Logistics. This facility is designed to improve product availability and accelerate delivery times, offering free same-day afternoon collection for orders placed before 1 p.m., and next-day delivery to 90% of ROI via trusted logistics provider JMC. Supported by a dedicated team of local technical and sales experts, Segen’s Irish operation will also deliver tailored support aligned with national regulations and project requirements.

“The solar and storage market in the Republic of Ireland is experiencing rapid growth, driven by a forward-thinking government committed to advancing the clean energy transition through attractive subsidies,” says Spencer Conday, Managing Director, Segen UK & Ireland.

“Our goal is to establish Segen as a leading distributor of renewable energy technologies in this market. Our promise is simple: to provide industry-leading products, unmatched technical support, and reliable local service that customers can count on.”

Tesla Powerwall Makes ROI and Northern Ireland Debut

In parallel with its expansion in ROI, Segen also announces its appointment as the exclusive distributor of the Tesla Powerwall home battery in both ROI and Northern Ireland—bringing the product to installers across both regions for the first time.

Now in its third generation, the Tesla Powerwall is one of the world’s best-selling home energy storage systems, with over one million units installed globally. Featuring an integrated inverter and scalable design, it provides a future-ready solution to Ireland’s growing demand for reliable, clean energy storage.

“The introduction of the Powerwall—alongside other leading battery energy storage solutions—comes at a pivotal time for the Irish market, where demand for reliable storage is continuing to grow rapidly, particularly in rural areas where grid access can be limited,” says Conday.

“By combining premium technologies with expert support, local stockholding and fast delivery, we’re enabling installers and contractors to meet this demand with confidence—offering solutions that maximise savings, improve energy resilience and support the transition to cleaner, more independent energy systems.”

To support customers in ROI, Segen is providing access to the Segen Online Portal, a comprehensive platform offering real-time pricing, live product availability, technical documentation, system design tools, and more.

Segen also invites Irish installers and contractors to attend its Roadshow on Wednesday 23rd October at the Osprey Hotel in Naas, County Kildare, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This event will bring together 14 leading manufacturers under one roof, offering live demonstrations and hands-on training. Attendees will also be able to take advantage of exclusive offers, along with giveaways, a complimentary lunch, and valuable networking opportunities, all in a convenient, easy-to-reach location.
