Strong Customer Demand Verifies XJet’s Move from R&D to a Major Player in Additive Manufacturing

Unique patented NPJ technology set to transform how products are made

Fort Worth Convention Center, Fort Worth, TX, USA, April 24, 2018 – As the XJet Carmel AM Production System makes its US debut at RAPID + TCT today, XJet has announced new sales, and confirmed many more will be disclosed soon, illustrating that market adoption of its breakthrough NanoParticle Jetting™ (NPJ) technology is now well underway.

“This year RAPID + TCT represents significant advancement for XJet as the business moves out of the research lab and into an established market position,” says Hanan Gothait, CEO and Founder of XJet, “We’re experiencing huge interest for NPJ technology. With several installations under our belt, including YBI in Ohio, and new customers announced today, we are showing the market this transformative technology is now proven and ready to change the way products are made, across myriad industries including medical, aerospace, automotive, energy and many more.”

New customers confirmed today include leading Russian service provider, AB Universal, and Israeli manufacturer Syqe Medical, known for its revolutionary metered-dose medical inhaler. XJet has also disclosed that orders have been signed by world leading customers in Italy and Switzerland with details yet to be revealed.

Drawing on its almost 30-year experience in high-tech equipment, AB Universal has cited market potential for 3D printed technical ceramics in Russia as the driver for its investment. Syqe Medical however had a very specific need – extremely precise heat resistant parts for the production of its ground-breaking inhaler. Preferring additive manufacturing processes for reduced timescales and more creative freedom, XJet was the only technology that could fully meet the requirement according to Syqe Medical Founder and CEO, Perry Davidson.

Further testaments to the maturity of the business and the market’s confidence in the technology, XJet celebrates its 100th employee this month, announces a new 20,000 square foot AM Center – located in Israel and led by Liat Laufer, XJet AM Center Manager – due to open in the coming months and has been honored with a coveted Technology Innovation Award from global research and consulting organization Frost & Sullivan. Frost & Sullivan’s Best Practices Awards recognize companies throughout a range of regional and global markets for superior leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development.

Frost & Sullivan notes that XJet’s successful delivery of a user-friendly device with advanced programmable characteristics, remote operating systems, and highly sealed ink cartridges that ensure user safety on a secure platform is a best practice exemplified by the NanoParticle Jetting technology.

At RAPID + TCT 2018, visitors to the XJet booth are invited to join the XJet experience, enjoy demonstrations of the XJet Carmel 1400 AM System; hear from XJet customers; take a spectacular virtual tour inside the NPJ technology world, and see under a microscope its range of stunning zirconia and stainless steel printed samples displaying ultra-fine detail and smooth finishes.

Gothait concludes, “We’re delighted to participate at RAPID + TCT and meet with the North American AM community.  With a strong and growing customer base, the future of XJet NJP technology looks bright.”

PEOPLE SAY...

“I have worked in industrial journalism for over three decades and therefore feel I can comment with a fair degree of experience on the merits of the communications I receive on behalf of technology suppliers and implementers. On that basis I have no hesitation in commending Incus Media very highly as an organisation that serves both its clients and the media very well. I find I can rely on it not just to supply well-written pertinent background information but also to facilitate direct constructive contact with its clients when appropriate. Its staff are also friendly and approachable as well as efficient and effective.”
